American LIFAN recently joined the National Association of State Motorcycle Safety Administrators or SMSA, a nonprofit organization that assists motorcycle safety programs nationwide.
Sacramento, CA – September 17th 2018: Each year the SMSA has a national training summit and this year the summit was held in Sacramento, the capital of California. American LIFAN is the first motorcycle manufacturer from China to join this highly respected organization. LIFAN is always looking for ways to make its products safer and riders who are properly trained fair a much better chance on today’s busy roads.
During the summit attendees are encouraged to attend classes which cover the latest information on rider safety, new technologies, laws and more. On the last day of the summit a rider workshop was held at Prairie City, California’s State Vehicle Recreation Area, about 30 miles Sacramento. Along with the regular classes, riders were able to get hands on training with riding instructors showing all aspects of riding. American LIFAN supplied several KP and KPR series 200CC motorcycles for the riders to learn on. Riders said they enjoyed the predictable throttle response, excellent handling in both the curves and the straightaways, solid braking and liked the overall feel of riding a LIFAN motorcycle as well as the looks.
American Lifan Sales and Marketing Director Mike Turber stated “Exhibiting and providing bikes at an event such as this shows that LIFAN is truly committed to keeping all those who ride & who ride LIFAN, safe and ready to take on the streets. Through proper training and rider safety education classes like these one can feel confident that they have the skills it takes to ride safe.” Turber also noted “Some were hesitant at first to ride a brand of motorcycle they were not very familiar with. By the end of the day LIFAN was the most talked about bikes at the track and it was all good.”
